API Bundles

In our documentation section you will find detailed descriptions on how to use the TalentLink Exchange API to build your intergrations.

Career Portal

  • Fo Advert

    The Lumesse FoAdvert web service provides methods for developers to build career web sites based on published positions from TalentLink. 

  • Talent Portal

    The TalentPortal web service enables the creation of web pages where an existing candidate can login and see details of their applications. The web service also allows administration of candidates by supplying methods to create an account for a candidate.

  • Search Agent

    Creates a new search agent. Guest login using technical site id is needed to determine on which site the agent will be created.

User Admin

The User Admin bundle is for users who wish to maintain Users, Roles and Organizations.

  • User

    Within this Service you are able to create, update, delete, search for users, along with many other methods.

  • Roles
  • The Role API is closely associated with the User API, and defines the roles assigned to users when they are created. Roles can be grouped together to create collections of roles, which can then be used to control which functions the user can perform.

  • Organizations

    Within Organization webservices you are able structure the organization levels, update, delete and create along with other commonly used methods.

Posting

  • The Posting bundle allows access to the Posting web service which allows the retrieval of postings that have been posted to a single channel. A typical use of this bundle would be the retrieval of all live postings for display on an external system.

     

Timesheets & Contracts

  • Lumesse's Timesheets & Contracts API provides methods for retrieving and updating TalentLink timesheet and contractor data.

HRIS

The HRIS bundle is for users who wish to build an integration between TalentLink and an external system where it is necessary to synchronise data for candidates, positions and configurable fields.

  • Candidates

    Retrieving Candidates, Creating Candidates and Updating Candidates.

  • Positions

    Positions Web service is used to managed TalentLink BackOffice positions

  • Configurable Fields

    Configurable fields in TalentLink (TLK) are categorized either as List of Values (LOVs), Free Form Fields or User Data.

  • Document

    This service can be used to retrieve structured documents and attachments related to Candidates, Postings

Assessment Provider

  • The Assessment Provider bundle provides access to the Queue and Assessment Provider web services.

Background Checking

  • The Background Checking bundle provides access to the Queue and PreEmployment web services.

Single Sign On

  • This is the standard Single Sign On solution supported by Lumesse. Generally the idea is to have an additional database with TalentLink™ user logins and passwords kept and maintained on the customer side, integrated with the intranet system.

Queues

  • Queues are collections of TalentLink elements that match a given criteria. For example, a queue might exist for candidates who are at a status of hired.

 

Comparing the FoAdvert and Posting Services

The FoAdvert and Posting services both can be used to retrieve posted adverts. The differences between them is explained below.

The Posting service is best suited to those wanting to retrieve adverts and then store them locally whereas the FoAdvert is best suited to those wanting to build a career site with a search facility.
